All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty together again!
Okay, I’m less sure about the king’s men, but I think it’s fairly obvious why the horses weren’t much chop at egg reassembly. I mean, that’s a job for someone with fingers.
(Did you know that horses also dance terribly? Every single one of them has two left feet.)
