Although there is much to argue with in the lyrics of this song – for a start, Moses was not a contemporary of Elijah or Ezekiel, and to say that these are the days of all three implies a perspective that exists outside of time but which, confusingly, still refers to events in terms of time – the central refrain of this song cannot be argued with.

There is indeed no god like Jehovah, with the possible exception of Hastur the Unspeakable.

This is because there is no other god that I can think of who requires that you be put to death for saying his name. Which is Jehovah. Jehovah, Jehovah, Jehovah…
