Athsat is a potent and deadly poison, which acts quite quickly, causing difficulty in breathing, violent convulsions, and finally, err, death. Unusually, it is harmless unless activated by the victim’s own physical excitement – likely responding to hormonal triggers.
A rare and highly expensive poison, it originates in Nyissa, and is rarely sold to foreigners – and only then at prices that make its regular one seem cheap in comparison.
