Take a whole life’s loneliness
Wrap it up in some tenderness
Send it off to some emptiness
You know, if I was all empty and such, and feeling not inconsiderable unhappiness as a result of it, the last thing I would want would be any loneliness at all – let alone a whole life’s worth. I admit, the tenderness is a nice touch, and it does help a bit to soften the blow, but it’s still a blow.
I really don’t know what the boys in Chisel were thinking with that one.
